Circumhorizontal Arc

Joe took my hand and pointed up and this is what I saw. This photo won the KSL News Weather Center photo-of-the-week for June 15th, 2012 and they described it as a weather phenomenon called a circumhorizontal arc.

This was taken with my little Canon Power Shot since we were hiking, but, it did pretty well. I'm surprised it's not blurry. The location is on the hike to Cecret Lake near Alta, Utah.

Flying At The City

What I Did Today

Very happy when Ethel abides with us.
